Verizon Samsung GALAXY Nexus pictured with Android 4.0.2 update
According to a lucky user of the CDMA, LTE enabled version of the Samsung GALAXY Nexus, the phone received an update the other day that takes the phone to Android 4.0.2. The same source told Droid-Life that he could not find any changes to the handset following the update. Could it have something to do with the volume bug that has been affecting the GSM variant of the phone? Most likely not since the latter model did not receive any update yet.

We reported earlier today that pre-orders for the Samsung GALAXY Nexus could start on Tuesday although so far Verizon has remained quiet on this front. As far as a launch date is concerned, time is running out on any hope of a November release. In the meantime, you can check out the screenshots below that show the battery life on the phone. Considering it is an LTE phone, the results show battery life to be somewhere between great and poor.
