While participants in any of the Motorola soak test are supposed to keep their mouth closed, especially with the media, it now seems to be confirmed that the current soak test being done for the Verizon version of the Motorola Moto X is for Android 4.4, KitKat. A list of changes can be found below, and mentions the new Android 4.4 dialer, changes to the camera and even support for the Square credit card reader. The update will also allow you to make Hangouts the default SMS app on your phone by going to Settings > Wireless > Default SMS app.
With such a major update, this soak test could take longer than some past tests. Hopefully, it won't be too long before Verizon Motorola Moto X owners are dancing in the street with Android 4.4 installed on their phone. KitKat? You're soaking in it.
