Verizon to launch the LG V20 this week, ahead of other carriers
While AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint are getting ready to launch the LG V20 next week, Verizon will start selling the handset this Thursday, October 20. Mind you, this is the day when Verizon's V20 will be available only online. If you want to get the device from a Verizon store, you'll have to wait until October 27.
At the moment, there is no word on how much the LG V20 will cost at Verizon. However, looking at the phone's prices for T-Mobileand AT&T, we assume Verizon plans to ask about $800 (full retail price) for it. Just like all other major US carriers, for a limited time, Verizon will be offering a free pair of B&O PLAY earphones to customers who are buying the LG V20.
Building on the moderate success of the LG V10, the V20 is an interesting smartphone that sports two displays: a main 5.7-inch Quad HD one, and a secondary one with 1040 x 160 pixels. The handset also offers a dual rear camera, plus many other high-end features like a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of expandable storage space.

The LG V20 is the world's first smartphone to ship with Android Nougat. However, on Verizon, the V20 has to share the first-with-Nougat privilege with the Google Pixel and Pixel XL, both of which will be released on the same day, October 20. All in all, Verizon will have three attractive phones on sale this Thursday. Do you plan to get any of them?
Update: It looks like T-Mobile customers will also get the LG V20 on October 20.
