Verizon HTC One (M7) users are now receiving Sense 6 update OTA
Verizon customers with the M7 version of the HTC One, are now receiving their update to Sense 6. With the update to software version 4.10.605.3, comes the addition of a single page with all of the categories of content that you can add to BlinkFeed. The update also adds a new design that lets you continuously scroll through content options for the feature. And with Sense 6, BlinkFeed can add restaurant recommendations from Twitter and Foursquare, helping you know where the best places to dine are in your area.

The update also brings you a new UI with vivid colors and bold typography. And the camera app will allow you to customize camera settings with updated menu options. A new button lets you access preloaded camera choices. With the changes to the Gallery app, Video Highlights will be available from the top of each section, and you can easily separate pictures using the Timeline, Albums and Location settings.

After installing Sense 6, wallpaper can be changed on the home screen without having to click on settings. You can also bypass settings to change the home screen, and add widgets, apps and shortcuts. The update also improves Wi-Fi connectivity on the phone, and an Emergency Alert app has been added.

It will take 25-30 minutes to download the update, which is coming OTA. Installation should take 10 minutes to 20 minutes, during which time you will not be able to make/take calls. You should be on a Wi-Fi connection for the updating process, with your battery at least 50% powered up.

Thanks for the numerous tips we received!
