Verizon: HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia 822 in stores; Best Buy offering black Nokia Lumia 822 for $49.99
Yes, Verizon now has the HTC 8X and the Nokia Lumia 822 in its stores. The former is available now in black for $199.99 after a signed two-year contract. The blue model is scheduled to ship before November 19th and the red one should be out by November 27th. You know the story by now, 4.3 inch Super LCD 2, incredible 342ppi pixel density and a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 driving Miss Daisy. 1GB of RAM is aboard with NFC support, 8MP and 2MP cameras in back and front respectively. 16GB of native memory is inside and of course, the phone offers LTE connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 822 is $99.99 at Verizon with a two-year pact. If you don't mind getting the phone in black, Best Buy is offering the very same device for $49.99 on contract. If you're the lazy type, Best Buy's website simply matches Big Red's pricing so if you want the discount, you will need to get into the car (motorcycle, bicycle or even a rickshaw) and head down to the actual glass and steel location. Better hurry because supplies at Best Buy are said to be low.

For a quick refresher, the Nokia Lumia 822 has a 4.3 inch WVGA, AMOLED display with a 217ppi pixel density. The same processor found on the HTC 8X  is on board, along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. Unlike the HTC model, the Nokia Lumia 822 offers a microSD slot. The back and front-facing shooters weigh in at 8MP and 1.2MP respectively, and there is LTE connectivity.
