Verizon HTC 10 update brings camera improvements
Verizon will start pushing a software update today for the HTC 10. The new software version is touted to provide some neat camera improvements.

Mo Versi, VP of Product Management at HTC has recently announced the update on Twitter. Versi has highlighted camera improvements and additional fixes as the main changes brought by this new update.

It looks like this is the same update that the unlocked version of the HTC 10 received in both the US and Europe a few weeks ago. Fortunately, the improvements that unlocked HTC 10 owners have been making use of during the past couple of weeks are now available to those who've purchased the HTC 10 from Big Red.

As with most carrier updates, the OTA is spreading out in stages, meaning that not all of you will get the update at the same time. Your HTC 10 should notify you when the update is available for download, but just in case you're feeling impatient, you can attempt a manual check by heading over to the Settings menu.

The HTC 10 is nothing if not one of the best high-end smartphones currently available on the market. The highlights include a premium all-metal build, a 5.2-inch display running at 1440 by 2560 pixels, as well as optical image stabilization on both the front (5MP) and the back (12MP) cameras.
