Verizon kicks off Father's Day sale with BOGO deals on iPhones, Android flagships
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
After T-Mobile, Verizon is the second major in the U.S. that announces its new deals for Father's Day. The sale is already live and includes discounts on the most recent iPhones and three popular Android flagships.
However, the discounts are only available if you purchase one of the smartphones included in the promotion. For Apple fans, Verizon offers $699 off a second iPhone 8, 8 Plus or X, but only if you an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X.
As far as the Android offering goes, Verizon has the Samsung Galaxy S9, Google Pixel 2, and LG G7 ThinQ on BOGO deals. As a matter fact, customers who purchase the Galaxy S9 will get back $799 credit for the second device, while Google Pixel 2 buyers received only $649. Finally, those who choose the LG G7 ThinQ will get back $750 credit for the second device.
Keep in mind that the second device can be a completely different Android smartphone, so if you buy the Galaxy S9, you can use the $799 credit toward purchasing a Pixel 2 XL, but you'll have to pay the difference if the price is higher.
As expected, the promo credit will be applied to your account over 24 months as a bill credit. On top of that, a new line of service is required for the deal.
