RIM has surely been one busy bee of late as we head into launch day for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 – which of course sports a totally revamped platform experience. Yesterday we witnessed the
release of BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6 for PC users, but today RIM has updated their popular brand name instant messaging client – BlackBerry Messenger. The update brings it to version 5.0.1.38, the same one that's being shipped with the Torch 9800, and it's believed to include a host of fixes and performance improvements. However, there was no change-log included with the download – but based on some comments from users who've installed it, there are just a myriad of items it addresses.
