Update for Android's Skyfire app packs bug fixes & new features
Now that some Android handsets are experiencing support for Flash 10.1, Skyfire's once alluring proposition as being a true to life desktop-like mobile web browser might be tested. However, that's not going to stop the makers of the popular web browser from dishing up an update for their Android app. The latest update brings the Skyfire app for Android to version 2.3.2 and packs some much needed bug fixes and a couple of new features.
Basically, users will no longer have to deal with a bug that frustratingly caused the browser to force close – so expect a somewhat more stable experience. Additionally, they also enhanced their video search feature and the user interface has been updated so that it looks extremely appealing on devices with higher resolution displays. Still regarded as a popular alternative to the stock Android browser, the latest version of Skyfire should still continue to appease users who've been experiencing Flash friendly web sites for a long time now thanks to the app.
