Screenshots from the updated eBay app for iOS
Auction site eBay has updated its iOS app, adding some features that make it
easier to bid for items on the go. A new UI simplifies the auction process while the new eBay shopping cart allows you to check out multiple items at the same time in the U.S. or the U.K. If your iPhone or iPad is running iOS 6, you can tap on the top of the grid when you receive search results, and you will see larger pictures of the items up for bid.
For those of you who like to steal away bargains at the last minute, eBay has improved bidding on its iOS app for auctions that are close to ending. And in certain U.S. states, you can now use the camera on your iOS device to
scan your driver's license for quick registration. For those of you in Spain, selling support has been added.
The update is now available for both the Apple iPhone and Apple iPad, and takes the eBay app for iOS to version 3.0.0.
