Upcoming Sony Xperia Z1s (mini) gets sized with the Z1, starts a new rumor
We've been hot on the heels of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z1s for what seems like an eternity now, yet the promise of top-of-the-shelf specs in a compact body has kept us from faltering. Thankfully, it's payday today, as our perseverance has been rewarded with yet another nugget or two of information.
To start off the week in a proper fashion, the all-round intriguing Sony Xperia Z1s got snapped 'boasting' its compact proportions. The 4.3-incher, as you can see, has shrunken in size considerably, and should prove to be more compelling for all those of you who shudder at the thought of a 5-inch device. What shot the Z1s on our 'WANTED' list, however, is the fact that Sony, unlike its rivals, hasn't skimmed on the specs – it comes packing the mighty Snapdragon 800, along with 2GB of RAM and 20.7-megapixels of photo awesome.
By the way, the eagle-eyed among you may have caught a glimpse of IPS in the photo (the text), and are possibly scratching their heads, pondering. Apparently (according to the source of the snap), the Xperia Z1s may actually sport an IPS panel, different to the one found on the Xperia Z1. It goes without saying that this is just a rumor, and we've got no actual reason to suspect so at this point.
