Unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S Plus can now be ordered in the UK
Clearly, if you’re not in the market to pick up high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S II, then you might still find some satisfaction with the recently available Samsung Galaxy S Plus – a device that packs subtle improvements over the original.
Already, the handset is available in contract form thanks to Vodafone UK, but as an alternative, you can nab the unlocked version of the handset as well right now. British retailer Expansys is currently taking orders for the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S Plus, but they won’t begin shipping them out until September 5th.
Nevertheless, you can dish out £334.99 ($547) if you want to side with an upgraded original Galaxy S model, which features a 4” WVGA Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz single-core processor, HSDPA, 5-megapixel camera, 720p video recording, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Considering that it’s about £160 less than the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S II, some might find it substantially enough to warrant a purchase.
