Released last month in some Asian markets, Sony’s
Xperia T3 can now be purchased in Europe. You can get the smartphone via Sony Store in the following European countries: UK, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, and Poland. Prices go from around €325 in Sweden to €399 in France and Italy.
The T3 should be available in other markets soon - including in Germany, where the handset is officially called
Sony Xperia Style. It’s not clear if the new Xperia will be officially launched in North America, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything about this.
Sony announced the Xperia T3 in early June, calling it the world’s thinnest 5.3-inch smartphone (there aren’t too many 5.3-inch handsets to begin with anyway). Running Android 4.4 KitKat, the T3 is only 7mm-thin, and offers mid-range features, including: a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 8 MP rear camera, 1.1 MP front-facing camera, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2,500 mAh battery. The smartphone’s 5.3-inch screen has a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. We’ll probably review the Xperia T3 pretty soon, so check back if you want to know more about the handset.
