Unlocked Moto E4 Plus now up for pre-order in the US for $179.99, ships on August 11

Lenovo announced recently the Moto E4 Plus will make its debut in the United States this week, as Verizon Wireless will start selling the smartphone.

However, customers who wish to purchase the unlocked version of the Moto E4 Plus can do so via Amazon, Best Buy and other major retailers across the country. In fact, Amazon has already started to take pre-orders for the mid-range Android smartphone.

As expected, the unlocked Moto E4 Plus is available for purchase for $179.99 on Amazon, and customers can choose between the Iron Gray and Fine Gold color options. The bad news is the smartphone won't ship until August 11, so you'll still have to wait for about a week to receive your Moto E4 Plus.

For those who want more storage on their Moto E4 Plus, Amazon is also selling the 32GB model, which costs $199.99. Just like the 16GB version, this one will be released on August 11.

Since this is the unlocked variant, it will work on all carriers in the United States regardless of what network they use, be it GSM or CDMA.
