Unknown Huawei smartphone gain certification in China
With plenty of excitement for Huawei's upcoming Mate 9 phablet, another of the Chinese firm's handsets appears to have been outed via TENAA. Where the Mate 9 is expected to be a powerhouse in every sense of the word, this newly spotted device offers a comparatively modest array of internal hardware.

According to the TENAA listing, the handset will be a mid-ranger throughout with a 5-inch, 720p IPS display, 1.4 GHz octa-core SoC and 3 gigs of RAM. There will also be 32 GB of storage, which will be expandable by up to 128 GB via microSD.

The handset is likely to be equipped with a 13-megapixel main camera along with a 5-megapixel effort on the front for selfies. There's to be a 2920 mAh battery, which should keep such a low-powered device running for a substantial length of time. There's no word on when the handset will be unveiled as yet, but the rumor mill points to a December roll-out.

With the Huawei Mate 9 set to be unveiled on November 3rd, this mysterious DIG-AL00 device could also be introduced on the same date. We'll keep you posted on any further info as it arrives, so stay tuned.
