Unbranded Samsung Galaxy Note is seen over on Sprint's web site
Earlier in the year right before CES, there was a rumor regarding the possibility of a Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy Note donning 4G LTE connectivity. At the time, it was believed to make an unveiling at CES, but in reality, the only LTE enabled device that we saw was the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. However, it seems that the rumors are slowly coming back from underground about this Sprint Galaxy Note.
Interestingly, an image of an unbranded Samsung Galaxy Note was recently spotted over on Sprint’s web site showing off the carrier’s Mobile Controls feature. Naturally, it’s difficult to say with enough certainty if the handset will be coming to Sprint or not – especially when neither Sprint or Samsung has come out officially regarding the matter. In any event, it could also be some kind of slip up by the marketing department as well.
Then again, considering that CTIA Spring 2012 is less than a month away, it could be the ripe time for Sprint to unveil this thing. Indeed, it’s a fantastic smartphone in many ways, but considering that it’ll be competing against other devices like the HTC EVO 4G LTE and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it’ll be interesting to see how Sprint manages this one.
