So the OnePlus 5 just got announced, with what one might be tempted to call a somewhat boring presentation. The prerecorded keynote was a bit of a slow, lethargic experience, similar in tone to last year's 3T event. But not everything was bad. In fact, there were a couple of brief but very welcome moments of bliss, when she appeared. No, not American supermodel and OnePlus spokesperson Emily Ratajkowski.
We're talking about Una.
The red-coated Shiba Inu, a mainstay of OnePlus' marketing, made an appearance at the event, and actually had one of the most important jobs on the floor – bringing Carl Pei the new OnePlus 5. And she did it spectacularly!
Such a good girl!
With a dog-sized OnePlus backpack strapped onto her back, Una happily trotted towards the OnePlus co-founder, knowing full well the importance of her job. We repeat: she wore a backpack! For a way too brief couple of seconds, she was the shining ray of light on the all-black stage.
As OnePlus' office dog, Una has appeared numerous times across the company's social media accounts. While she is most commonly seen in photos posted to Twitter, you can also find her in at least one of OnePlus' video ads, as well. But if you want to see her two appearances on this particular event, head to 29:55 or 63:46. You won't regret it.
Oh, yes, you can also watch the OnePlus 5 launch event in its entirety in the video embedded above.
