Owners of the unlocked Moto G4 Plus in the US reported that Motorola is updating the handset to Android Nougat. Weighing in at 741MB, the package includes the core set of features which debuted with the operating system, as well as a new one-handed mode. So expect faster operation, Doze mode for power efficiency, Quick Settings, Multi Window and more stuff you can read about right here.

In the meantime, we are awaiting the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus, although only the latter will be reaching the US – priced very affordably at $229. The smartphone is up for pre-order now at Motorola, Best Buy, and Amazon. It will also be offered by Verizon. Read our hands-on impressions if you want to know more. In our opinion, the smartphones offer excellent value for money!
