The four major domestic wireless carriers have seen their fair share of high-end Android powered smartphones this summer, with some getting more than others, but there has been a lack of them with the regional carriers out there. Customers can purchase the smartphone at $199.95 with a contract after a $100 mail-in-rebate. Although we're still at the early stages of Froyo's unveiling, the Android 2.1 powered HTC Desire will most likely move up to the newer version down the road.
