UPDATED: Mighty shots unearth the HTC Incredible for Verizon
The Nexus One isn’t going to be the only HTC Android 2.1 phone for Verizon Wireless after images of the HTC Incredible were leaked. There were already some rumored information regarding this handset, but it looks like they’re pretty much dead on; based on the surfaced images provided by pocketnow. Although it sports a red paint job in the rear, it does pack a lot of similarities under the hood – features include a Snapdragon processor, 256MB of RAM, 3.5” to 3.7” WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, dual LED flash, and the Sense UI. Just like what we’ve seen with RIM’s offerings, the HTC Incredible also sports an optical mouse towards the bottom of the handset as opposed to the usual trackball we’ve seen. Customers have plenty to look forward to with Verizon when it comes to candybar HTC devices running Android – they’re already got one of the best priced Android phones with the HTC DROID Eris and will soon have the Nexus One. It’s really difficult to see this handset go toe-to-toe with the with another high-end Android phone at the same time – we’ll see what Big Red plans on doing with the Incredible when the Nexus One is coming up on the horizon as well.
