UPDATED: First look at the LG Glance VX7100 for Verizon
We first heard of the LG VX7100 back in February, and then a month later found out it would be called the Glance. Not much else was known until recently, since the enV3 and VX11000 (Voyager´s successor) used to grip all the attention. It´s the first time we´ve gotten a picture of the upcoming LG Glance and we are able to confirm that it´s going to be a thin candy-bar style phone. This is quite unusual of LG, since most of their recent devices are flip phones, sliders, and touchscreen devices. We hear the Glance will be a budget-to-mid-level device, positioned under the VX8360, as it lacks EVDO (making it only 1X compatible), but no matter it will still feature VCast music with Rhapsody support. No word´s been breathed as to neither what its release date, price, display or camera resolution are. We'll keep you posted once we dig out more info.

Thanks to a friend for sending this in!

*UPDATED 4/23/09*

Our friend was kind enough to find out some more information about the Glance. The display is 2" QVGA 320x240 resolution, it will have a 1.3MP camera, 1000 entry phonebook, Bluetooth, VCast services (music, games, and VZ Navigator), but the data is limited to 1X only. The dimensions are 4.31"H x 1.87"W x 0.38"D and will have a weight of 2.92oz (including the battery). This would make it the thinnest phone currently for Verizon.
