UK consumers will have to wait until mid-February for the Dell Venue Pro
Although some people in the US who ordered the Dell Venue Pro back in December are finally getting a chance to see their orders arrive at their front doors, the news for UK consumers who are looking to snatch the same handset is looking grim. It appears that the beloved Windows Phone 7 handset is being delayed in the UK, which means that you won't be able to purchase one until some time around the middle of February.
Aside from the fact that it's probably one of the most prestigious Windows Phone 7 smartphones to be released thus far, it appears that the delay is due to an issue regarding the MMS settings for the UK carriers. This latest push back only compounds the headaches that are in store of UK customers since the handset was already delayed previously due to a “component issue.” However, the wait for this highly prized smartphone is being extended into the next month – so let's hope that the handset will have all of its kinks addressed by then.
