U.S. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 Wi-Fi gets Android 4.1.2 update
The U.S. version of the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 Wi-Fi is now being updated to Android 4.1.2. This is model number GT-N8013 and the build of Android 4.1.2 is JZO54K. While the update is being sent out OTA, you could also try to find it on Samsung Kies. Check to see if it arrived by going to Settings > About device > Software update. Or, you can just take a USB cable and plug your tablet into your PC to see if the update has hit Kies. Android 4.1 was already sent out to the international version of the tablet in November.

Android 4.1.2 brings some nice new changes to your Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 such as Project Butter, which makes the tablet run smoothly. As smooth as, well, butter. Then, there is Google Now. This is a personal assistant that will push to you via cards the information that you need, when you need it. For example, if you commute to the office daily, Google Now can send to you a traffic update every morning during breakfast so you know how much earlier you need to leave to get to work on time.

If you own the GT-N9013, let us know if you've received the update for your Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 by dropping us a comment in the box below. Let us know what you think of the update, which should make it seem as though you have a new tablet.
