In the U.K., if the shopping list given to you by your wife includes cereal, milk, bread and an Android tablet, you should immediately head to a Tesco location. There, among Capt'n Crunch, Coca-Cola and feminine napkins, you will find the LG G Pad 8.3. And you won't need a coupon to pick up the slate, all dolled up in white, for £119 ($200 USD). You're saving £130 ($219 USD) off the market's regular price for the tablet, just in time for Easter.
Actually, the deal is available from Tesco's online store, which you can find at the sourcelink. To refresh your memory, the LG G Pad 8.3 offers up an 8.3 inch LCD screen with resolution of 1900 x 1200. Under the hood is a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor. 2GB of RAM is inside with 16GB of native storage. The 5MP rear camera will capture your video in 1080 x 1920 at 30fps, and there is a 1.3MP snapper that adorns the front of the tablet. A 4600mAh cell powers the slab, which comes with Android 4.2.2 pre-installed. We should also point out that this is the Wi-Fi only model of the tablet.
The deal runs until Tuesday, so don't dilly dally.
The LG G Pad 8.3 has been sliced in price by more than half at U.K. supermarket Tesco
UPDATE: Did you dilly dally? The slate is not currently available from the site, although supplies could be replenished before the sale expires. We would suggest that if you're interested in the deal, continue to check in with the Tesco site through the sourcelink to see when the tablet can be ordered.
