Twitter for BlackBerry version 1.1 beta adds gesture support & other new features
In its further acceptance of social networking integration, RIM recently announced an update to its Twitter for BlackBerry beta app.
Currently available for download through the BlackBerry Beta Zone, version 1.1.0.16 includes a host of new features that’ll more than appease users out there. Not only does it receive a new updated interface, but we’re greeted with other things like the addition of geo-tagging tweets, push notifications for mentions, threaded style direct messages, and support for gestures on touchscreen devices.
Needless to say that it finally brings forth “features users have been asking for” – which interestingly enough has been quite some time. Nevertheless, it’s here and available for download. So what are you waiting for?
