TriangleAway now supports the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) with Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board
Chainfire's TriangleAway app has just been updated and now supports the Snapdragon-powered version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The application allows users to reset the internal flash counter of their rooted Samsung smartphones. This counter tracks how many times you've installed custom firmwares, which helps Samsung determine whether the warranty of your device is voided or not.

Samsung's latest phablet comes with improved security features (KNOX with eFuse technology) and read-only bootloader, so it was not supported by TriangleAway up until now. However, thanks to some unexpected side-effects of the recently leaked Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware for the Galaxy Note 3, the flash counter of the phablet can now be successfully reset by TriangleAway. Version 3.25 of the app brings support for all Snapdragon-powered Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) and Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) devices that are running the aforementioned Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware. It is yet unclear if the app will support any carrier-branded versions of the Galaxy Note 3.

It is important to say that TriangleAway will only reset the flash counter of the device. Still, the app is unable to reset the KNOX Warranty Void status.

Here's the official changelog of the latest version of TriangleAway:
