This Sunday January 31st, the honor 5X handset will be available in the U.S. The device, built by Huawei, will go on sale via the official honor store, Amazon and Newegg for $199.99 sans contract. For the price, you're getting a handset that carries a 5.5-inch screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. The Snapdragon 615 SoC is under the hood, carrying an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of expandable memory. Those seeking additional storage can access the 128GB capacity microSD slot on board.
A 13MP rear-facing camera adorns the back of the device, while a 5MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats. A rear-facing fingerprint scanner is one of the features, and a 3000mAh battery keeps the generator humming. Android 5.1 is pre-installed, with EMUI 3.1 running on top. The metal clad body is just 8.15mm thick, and the phone weighs in at 158 grams. Your color options are Gray, Gold or Silver.
