This may be the clearest Galaxy Note 7 pic yet, waterproof chassis hinted
This is the clearest pic we've had of the handset so far, barring the supposedly official renders, and it also shows the handset fired up and running Samsung's new Note UX version of the TouchWiz Android overlay.
Again, we can see the two intriguing sensor/camera openings at the top left that are said to form an iris scanner as an extra biometric security layer. Moreover, this unit seems much more polished, and with the Samsung logo up top staying intact, when compared to the previous prototype leaks today, so the Note 7 you are seeing here is probably the closest to the production version piece we have seen yet.
In addition, a "waterproof" glass back for the Note 7 has been listed in the Zauba import database, hinting that the Note 7 should come with the same IP68 water resistance certification as the Galaxy S7/S7 edge. Not that this would come as much of a surprise, but still it's nice to have a tangential proof.
As for the screen - yep, it's curved on both sides, and this "edge" display model will seemingly be the only version available. Fret not, flat screen lovers, at least the narrower body will mean a better grip, whether you'll use the side screens for something or not. Here are the Note 7 proto photos that we've had so far, in chronological order.
