These T-Mobile devices will receive Android 6.0
If you're a T-Mobile customer and you're wondering if you device is going to be updated to Android 6.0, all you need to do is head over to the carrier's online support page and click on software updates. There, you will find the images of T-Mobile devices that are in the process of receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow. By clicking on each device, you can find out where the particular device is in the updating process.
T-Mobile lists three levels for an update: Manufacturer Development, T-Mobile Testing and Completed. No surprise that the only units completed are the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and the Nexus 9. The Nexus 6 is in the midst of T-Mobile testing, and all of the other devices are on the first tier, Manufacturer Development.
The T-Mobile devices that will receive Android 6.0 include the HTC One (M8), HTC One M9, LG G3, LG G4, LG G Stylo, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.
