There's still some Windows Mobile love with the Samsung Omnia Pro 4
Although the majority of news regarding Windows Phones are mostly related to Windows Phone 7 devices, there is still some love for their current and existing platform. It was only a year ago when the aging operating system was still the it platform since Microsoft was gearing up to launch Windows Mobile 6.5, but thankfully, it looks like that another member can be added to the list of devices sporting the latest build of the platform. First announced back in June, the Samsung Omnia 735, aka the Omnia Pro 4, has been launched in Germany sporting Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and priced decently at €299 ($380). Just like how the Galaxy moniker is used for a majority of Samsung's Android smartphones, the Omnia name is deeply rooted with Windows Mobile as we've seen plenty of good devices under its name. The Samsung Omnia 735 is a portrait style QWERTY handset that features a 2.62” resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, HSPA, and microSD card support. Even though it's been a while since we've seen any Windows Mobile smartphones launch in the US, you can always consider importing this unlocked handset if you really have some deep ties with the platform.
