The latest OnePlus 2 leaks, newest Galaxy Note 5 rumors, and the shake-up at Microsoft: weekly news round-up
Once again, it is time for our weekly news round-up, where we put the most interesting stories from the past seven days for anyone who needs to catch up. Right of the bat, we're inviting you to take a look at the newest rumors surrounding the upcoming OnePlus 2 (or OnePlus Two, perhaps) smartphone. It looks like the phone might last longer between charges thanks to a bigger battery, but the price tag is also shaping up to be steeper.

In other news, a number of rumors related to the Galaxy Note 5 surfaced last week. One of them claims that the phone's release date has been pulled earlier as to help Samsung compete with a next-generation iPhone. Speaking of Samsung, a display of insanely high resolution could be in development in its labs. It won't be materializing in a commercial device anytime soon, however.

And before we switch over to the slideshow below, we have to mention the recent layoffs at Microsoft. Up to 7,800 people, most of which employees in the company's Mobile division, will be looking for a new job amidst the uninspiring sales of the Lumia lineup. The company, however, ensures us that it is still serious about mobile devices. Make of it what you will.
