The Vertu Constellation Ayxta - your navigator in the world of the rich
Last week we told you about the folding Vertu handset that, at least according to the rumors that were floating about at that time, was supposedly called the Constellation F. Now we can officially welcome the new member of the Constellation series that, if anything, comes with a rather peculiar name - the Ayxta. Since we do not have the slightest clue what the word means and therefore, we cannot tell you an interesting story about the name, we will get down to brass tacks right away.

The Vertu Constellation Ayxta will be made of stainless steel, aluminium, ceramics and leather and come with a display covered with sapphire crystal. Its specifications seem pretty similar to the Ascent Ti – the device packs 3-megapixel camera with flash, support for 3G and microSD slot (cards of up to 8GB). However, the services that the Vertu Constellation Ayxta will give its owner access to, are far more exciting. Concierge is something that is well known to people using the luxury handsets. It allows you to contact a life assistant at the press of a button and the person will answer answer your questions, help you navigate around or whatever it is you need help with. Vertu Select is another nice service that tells you of trendy bars and event hotspots in the vicinity. City Brief is similar to Nokia´s Lonely Planet, only it´s aimed at lavishly rich people. Once you have entered information about the place you are headed for, the service will not only send you more details about the best restaurants, pubs and shops available locally, but provide insight and tip you off on the culture and customs of the people living in the area. And finally, the icing on the cake here is that all tones available on the Vertu Constellation Ayxta are composed by the popular ambient and trip-hop music band Zero 7.

The first clamshell handset by Vertu is expected to hit the shelves with a price tag varying from $7,000 to $10,500.
