The Samsung Master is a 3G flipper for South Korea
Do you miss the good ol' days when most handsets were not intelligent and functionality was limited to making/taking calls. snapping low-res pictures, and texting using a telephone keypad? The Samsung Master is a featurephone using the traditional clamshell design. With 2G/3G connectivity, the closest thing to a smartphone on this device, is the faux leather and stitching first seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
The Samsung Master is going to be available in South Korea only, and really does remind you about how far the industry has come in such a short period of time. The phone has a 3 inch 240 x 320 display. A 3MP camera is on board with a 3.5mm earphone jack, FM radio and pedometer. A notification can be preset to go out to a selected recipient if the user hasn't touched his phone in a long time. That would seem like an odd feature unless Samsung expects to sell these to mostly elderly users.
