Xiaomi's Mi Power Bank 3 carries a 20000mAh battery and is priced at the equivalent of $29 USD
One of the few products that Xiaomi sells in the U.S. is the Power Bank Pro that comes equipped with a 10000mAh battery (see image at the top of this article). The included microUSB cable comes with a Type-C adapter, allowing the power bank to be used with a wide range of smartphones and tablets. It also can be used with a Lightning cable for iOS powered devices. This accessory is priced at just under $30 at Amazon.
Soon, we might see Xiaomi's latest power bank offered in the states. Seen briefly on the website of Chinese online retailer Tmall, as noted by Android Police, was the Mi Power Bank 3. This accessory carries a 20000mAh battery, and features a USB-C port for input and output. Besides the USB-C port that runs up to 45W, the unit has two USB-A ports. If one port is used, the outputs are rated at 5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A. If both ports are used, the output becomes 5V/3A. If you connect other devices to the unit while it is charging, the Mi Power Bank 3 will charge them first before it replenishes its own battery.
Priced at the equivalent of $29 USD, the Mi Power Bank 3 originally showed up on Tmall's site for pre-orders, but was subsequently removed. We should see it return to the Tmall website shortly. And perhaps we will see this new version of the accessory eventually make its way into the U.S.
