The Jet Black Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will now ship in October or November
With pre-orders of the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus already off and running, the Jet Black version of the phones appear to be the most popular. Earlier today, some configurations of the new iPhone models dressed up in that color were pushed back to a November delivery. While some iPhone 7 units in Jet Black now show delivery in three to four weeks, the iPhone 7 Plus in that hue still shows an arrival delayed up to November.

Some models are showing delivery on September 16th, the actual launch date for the phone. For example, at Verizon the 32GB iPhone 7 in Black will be delivered on next Friday. The Silver model will arrive a week after that, as will the Gold and Rose Gold models. The 32GB Apple iPhone 7 Plus in Black will arrive on October 5th, while the Jet Black unit with 32GB is scheduled for a November 23rd delivery.

At T-Mobile, iPhone 7 shipping times aren't terribly delayed (2-3 weeks at most) although the 128GB model in Jet Black won't ship until November. All Jet Black versions of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus are also delayed until November. At AT&T, all 32GB iPhone 7 models will arrive on September 16th. The 128GB and 256GB Jet Black units will be shipped in early to mid October. All iPhone 7 Plus units with 32GB will ship next month, while the 128GB and 256GB versions in Jet Black will ship in November.

Besides the new iPhone 7 models, pre-orders have also begun for the Apple Watch series 2. The second generation smartwatch will be released on September 16th.
