Manufacturer Elephone has been on a roll over the last year, launching budget-friendly, bezel-less handsets that look quite shiny and are armed with capable hardware. The last entry in the line was the
Elephone S8, which was launched in pre-order last month and is about to start shipping out to customers.
Now, the company is gearing up to launch what it calls its flagship for 2017. The handset is to have a curved edge, AMOLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and super minimal bezels surrounding it. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC — an upper-midrange, octa-core chip, built on a 14 nm process, and capable of clock speeds up to 2.2 GHz.
These are all the details we have so far on the upcoming handsets. Its price is not set yet but is expected to be a fraction of what your average popular flagship would cost. Stay tuned for more info on specs and when the phone would be up for pre-orders!
