Remember Elephone? The company produced a smartphone with the largest battery capacity anyone's ever seen – the
Pioneer P5000 and its 5,350 mAh juicer, which we talked about back in December. Well, it's now ready to launch its 2015 flagship, which would be the P7000, and has released a promo video, which we would call both educational and entertaining.
On to the specs – the Elephone P7000 Pioneer (Pionner?) has a 5.5” 1080x1920 (FHD) display and is powered by a MediaTek-made 64-bit octa-core MT6752 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. Its storage space is 16 GB and it sports a 13 MP camera on its back (sensor made by Sony), coupled with a 5 MP (or 8 MP, promo material is unclear) front-facing snapper. The handset is equipped with a touch-type fingerprint scanner and all of this is kept on by a 3,450 mAh battery.
To sweeten the pot, Elephone offers a variety of Android-based interfaces to choose from. You can have stock Lollipop on your P7000, or download MIUI, Flyme, Freeme OS, or EMUI from Elephone's website, all ready to be flashed on your Pioneer. All of this, apparently, turns the new flagship into the most desirable phone of 2015.
