Take "vintage" 8mm-style video with the Free Apple App of the Week
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
Remember the days before video cameras were "a thing"? You would have to record 8mm movies using film that could not be erased. Most cameras had the capacity to film only a few minutes with a roll of 8mm film. If you miss the grainy images and the dust that would fly across the movie screen, well, we can tell you that those days are back thanks to the Free Apple App of the Week.

How serious is this app? There is a Jitter button to imitate the shaking of an 8mm projector. Another button imitates the sound of a projector running in case you want to show a "silent" movie. And you can add effects to videos sitting in your photo library. Certain movie themes are available as an in-app purchase.
Check out the 8mm Vintage Camera App in action by clicking on the video at the top of this story. From now through this coming Wednesday, you can pick up this app for free by clicking on this link.
