Take a look at the Amber update on the Nokia Lumia 920
Just a few days ago, we told you about a tweet from Nokia Spain which said to expect the Amber update for Windows Phone to come out next month. A leaked video shows an early build of the update. Among the features that are displayed in the video is the new on-screen clock that shows the time even when the phone is sleeping. Other parts of the Amber update will allow you to double tap the phone to wake it, flip the phone over to turn off the ringer and add new wallpaper options from SkyDrive.
The update also adds a number of functional new features for your camera thanks to the Smart Camera app, which is part of the Amber update. Within the app you'll find things like Action Shot, which allows you to photograph a subject in motion and produce one photo tracking an entire sequence. The app will also let you change faces on a portrait until you find the best shot for everyone. Remember, the camera app is part of the update for Nokia models only.

In addition to the Nokia only parts of the update, there are a number of things coming in the GDR2 update, which is being sent out for all Windows Phone 8 users. This part of the new OS build includes an FM radio which is being enabled with the update, and the expansion of Datasense to more carriers. This application will help you track your monthly data usage, alert you to when the the next monthly billing cycle will start, and even tell you which of your apps are consuming the majority of your monthly data allowance.
