T-Mobile launches cheap Alcatel A30 Tablet, LTE and Android Nougat on board
T-Mobile just announced that it's releasing a brand new Android tablet made by Alcatel (thus confirming a recent rumor). Called Alcatel A30, the new slate will be available to buy starting tomorrow, May 12, both online and in stores across the US.
T-Mobile customers will be able to purchase the Alcatel A30 Tablet for $125 outright, or $5 down plus $5 per month on T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan.
Not to be confounded with the Alcatel A30 smartphone (released via Amazon earlier this year), the Alcatel A30 Tablet sports an 8-inch IPS display with 800 x 1200 pixels, and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
With LTE connectivity on board, the Alcatel A30 Tablet will be one of T-Mobile's cheapest large devices to provide access to the carrier's 4G network. The tablet offers somewhat decent specs for its price - including 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage space, and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1 GHz. The slate also comes with two 5 MP cameras (front and rear), and a 4060 mAh battery.
Let us know if you'd spend $125 on this new tablet that T-Mobile is launching, will you?
