TENAA certifies ZUK Z1, releases new images
Earlier today, we passed along an image of the ZUK Z1's back. Considering that the render was posted on Weibo by ZUK's CEO, we feel pretty good about its legitimacy. Now, we have a new series of photographs taken of the whole device from another legitimate source, TENAA. The Chinese regulatory agency has certified the Z1.

What we couldn't see in the previous render is the rectangular home button that will house the UTouch feature and the fingerprint scanner. UTouch allows you to unlock the phone by swiping upward on the screen. We can see from the photo of the Z1's backside that the earlier render was spot on. The back features 2.5D glass and the phone offers a Type-C USB port on the bottom.

While TENAA did not reveal the specs of the phone, another website out of China says that the ZUK Z1 will be powered by the Snapdragon 808 SoC, the same chip found inside the LG G4. The Snapdragon 808 features a hexa-core CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM will be inside along with 64GB of internal storage, and the Z1 will employ a 4100mAh battery.

While the ZUK Z1 won't be unveiled until August 11th, you can view images of the phone by clicking on the slideshow below.
