T-mobile Q3 2004 results
T-Mobile USA, the subsidiary of Deutche Telekom AG today released their Q3 results. Most important number are:
- 901,000 net new customers
- Net Income of $254 million
- Net new customers totaled 3.2 million during the first three quarters of 2004
- About 90% of the growth in the third quarter of 2004 came from new postpay customers, whichcurrently comprise 89% of the customer base
- Service revenues, which consist of postpay, prepaid, and roaming and other service revenues, were $2.61 billion in the third quarter of 2004, up from $2.46 billion in the second quarter of 2004
- Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) was $55
- Churn averaged 2.6%
- The average cost of acquiring a customer, Cost Per Gross Add (CPGA) was $301
- Capital expenditures were $453 million in the third quarter of 2004, down from $664 million in the second quarter of 2004 and up from $407 million in the third quarter of 2003
