T-Mobile's version of the HTC HD2 packs new multimedia features?
There's no questioning the HTC HD2's capabilities when it comes to multimedia – it just screams as being a powerhouse in almost anything multimedia related. T-Mobile customers looking forward in greeting the venerable smartphone with open arms may not know what kind of juggernaut it will be when it's launched after a leaked ROM for the new version was made available. There's plenty of content to look forward to when you consider the entertainment value it will provide – such as support for Amazon's music store, packed e-reader application, and bundled with a few games to keep you situated at all times. Some of the games expected to make an appearance are Prince of Persia, Ferrari GT, Tetris, and Guitar Hero – it's not made clear as to whether or not they will be either full versions or trials. Finally the most interesting additions are Mobi-TV support, Slacker Radio, the inclusion of a BlockBuster app, and support for the Swype keyboard made popular by Verizon's version of the Samsung Omnia II. Existing owners of the smartphone don't need to worry or be filled with jealousy because the team over at xda-developers have the ROM available for download.
