New and existing T-Mobile customers can score a free phone by adding a new line
T-Mobile announced a new promotion today that will give new and existing T-Mobile subscribers the opportunity to grab a new smartphone for free. There is one catch; to receive a free phone, a new voice line must be added to any of the carrier's postpaid voice plans. The phones are free thanks to the 24 monthly bill credits that are applied to each participating subscriber's account.

The phones that are being offered for free with this promotion include:

T-Mobile's Magenta voice plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data with unlimited 3GB of highspeed hotspot each month and 480p video streaming. Perks include a free basic subscription to Netflix, weekly freebies with the T-Mobile Tuesdays promotion, free texting and one-hour of inflight Wi-Fi, and talk, text and 5GB of high-speed data in Mexico and Canada.

For those who don't plan on adding a new line, on July 26th T-Mobile will launch the Samsung Galaxy A10e and Galaxy A20. The former has a 5.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powered by the Exynos 7884, the phone comes with 2GB of memory and 32GB of storage. An 8MP camera adorns the back while a 5MP selfie snapper is found in front. The device carries a 3000mAh battery and will be available for $175 or 24-month payments of $7.30.

The Galaxy A20 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with the same 720 x 1560 resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also has the Exynos 7884 under the hood and is equipped with 32GB of storage. The Galaxy A20 is equipped with 3GB of memory, a dual-camera setup (13MP + 5MP Ultra-wide) in the back and an 8MP selfie camera in front. A nice sized 4000mAh battery keeps the lights on. The Galaxy A20 retails for $250, or you can put $10 down and pay $10 a month for 24 months.
