T-Mobile will be selling the Nokia X2 as a prepaid device starting February 16th?
T-Mobile has its fair share of Nokia devices, but we'd imagine that some customers are still itching for the day when the carrier will be graced with a super phone. In the mean time, we've been subjected to quite a few low to mid-range handsets from the Espoo based company.
Based on a leaked internal document, the Nokia X2 is looking to be the next device that'll grace T-Mobile's lineup – their prepaid one specifically. Primarily geared towards the text messaging conscious customers out there, the Nokia X2 sports a portrait style keyboard and will have a host of email and messaging features that should appease users.
Right now, the handset is slated to be released February 16th for an unknown price – which will more than likely make or break the handset. Aside from that, there are few specific details surrounding the device – like whether or not it'll be flaunting T-Mobile 3G connectivity or simply EDGE connections. Nevertheless, if the price is right, some consumers would more than likely pick it up despite not offering the modern convenience of 3G speeds.
