T-Mobile to offer the Nokia 5130 Xpress Music on September 16th

On September 16th, T-Mobile is expected to replace the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic with the 5130 XpressMusic. The latter model will be offered without 3G connectivity, but will have a QVGA display and the all important 3.5mm audio jack which will allow you to use your favorite old worn out earphones to listen to tunes in privacy (after all, you wouldn't want to admit that you're listening to Barry Manilow). An FM radio is on board and because man can not live with music alone, the device comes with a 2MP camera with video capture. External controls allow the user to control the music player with a simple touch of a button. For T-Mobile customers, this is a handset that allows them to stay close to their music and their friends. While pricing has not been revealed, we can imagine that the 5130 XpressMusic will be a budget device.
