The first report about T-Mobile's affordable smartphone packing premium features, the REVVL T1,
surfaced back in May. As we're getting closer to Android O's release and the unveil of iconic new devices like Nokia 8 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8, T-Mobile plans to introduce its own budget-friendly smartphone.
Although the Uncarrier has yet to unveil the device, an official document reveals the REVVL T1 will be launched at T-Mobile on August 10. The smartphone will be available for $0 down and $7 per month with JUMP On Demand, but only for a limited time.
Besides the low price,
REVVL T1 is likely to appeal to many consumers since it comes with Android 7.1 Nougat on board. Since the device has already been listed on T-Mobile's site, we know the rest of its specs aren't bad either.
The affordable handset packs a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. It also sports a 5.5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, as well as a 3,000 mAh battery that should provide up to 18 hours usage time or up to 300 hours standby time.
The 13-megapixel primary camera features 4x digital zoom, face detection, LED flash and autofocus, while the 5-megapixel camera on the front should be enough to capture decent selfies, even in low light environments since it comes with a LED flash too.
Finally, T-Mobile's REVVL T1 feature touch-sensitive controls, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and two front-facing speakers.
