The HTC HD2 is getting the red carpet treatment as T-Mobile is holding a launch party in New York on March 16th to most likely unveil the latest thing to grace Windows Mobile. Now this event can't be attended by just anyone – it's an invite only geared specifically for the press to get a first chance look at the smartphone. T-Mobile is really heavily advertising the HTC HD2 by their emphasis of it being a multimedia powerhouse with the tag line “a larger than life entertainment powerhouse” plastered to the ad. With the event almost a week away, the rumored launch date for the HTC HD2 is still set for March 24th; as it seems that T-Mobile is telling their employees to get on board with all of the HTC HD2 trainings before that date. There's no doubt that this launch party is going to be spectacular – especially when the HTC HD2 will be headlining the event.
