T-Mobile starts a BOGO promotion on the Vibrant, and a "Kids are Free" campaign
We are starting to think that carriers are waiting for an influx of great devices for the holidays, since the BOGO promotions on high-end phones are flying left and right. The rumored offering from T-Mobile for the Samsung Vibrant is now official.
In the press release the carrier announced that, starting today, each customer who buys a Vibrant, will be offered a second one at no charge, after a $50 mail-in rebate. Both handsets still require two-year contracts with the respective $30 data plan add-ons. Of course, you can always go to Amazon and get the Vibrant for $50, without having to deal with clipping barcodes, and mailing stuff.
In the press release T-Mobile also announced a "Kids are Free" campaign, where you can add up to three kiddos starting after the second new or existing family plan line, and T-Mobile will waive the monthly service fee until 2012.
The campaign for the 3-5th family line for free will run until November 2nd, and will amount up to a lot of savings, if you sign up all five lines. Well, in promotions kids might be free, but in reality we all know how much they cost.
