Major carrier T-Mobile has quietly started to roll out the November security update for two of Samsung's last year flagships, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.
If you own either of the two smartphones you should be looking for firmware version G920TUVU5EPK5 for the Galaxy S6 and G925TUVU5EPK5 for its curved counterpart.
Since T-Mobile hasn't yet updated its support page, it's unclear whether or not the update brings other new features or improvements aside from the November security patch.
Anyway, releasing the November security update in December is kind of ironic, especially that Google is likely to launch a new security patch in the next couple of days.
Nevertheless, it's better to have your phone bullet-proofed when it comes to security, so any updates that contribute to making our phones safer it's more than welcome. So, there you have it folks, make sure you get the update as soon as it becomes available.
